So many things have happened in the last 2.5 months that i left my joint here. Things i could have written about, but lots of my buddies have alrady written about them. But hey, I want to tell my thoughts too..So a recap of events thats i wanted to write about but i missed..
1. Mumbai attacked by Terrorists ---> I would have used abusive language at those sorry-not-fit-to-live-on-this-planet people. Unfortunately I dont use those words and I know its not a single voice that can make a difference. I am glad seeing that the Indian government seemed to be taking "some" steps against them and for the first time we are on an Offensive. JUSTICE NEEDS TO BE SERVED ..I pray that it happens fast and this incident too doesnt become "another terrorist act that occured". But it must be the "last terrorist attack on indian soil".
2.NEW YEAR 2009 ---> My long long time wish that i must be out of my home on New Years Eve with friends got fulfilled for the first time. Usually I am out with my parents and just once we had a get-together at my home. Oh Yeah and last year , i slept through the break of new year.
So behind all the hype that i had created in my mind about New Year's Eve on how i would celebrate with friends...well to be frank, it was like any other outing. But what the hell..something new for 2009 for me. CHeers!! and of course...WISH U ALL A VERY VERY BRIGHT NEW YEAR 2009 !
PS: i hate talking about resolutions, so please please lets not even get to it.
3. FRAUD BY RAMALINGA RAJU ---> Oops. that really hurt. I work for Satyam and its a big big personal blow for me and my resume. Though this was the work of the Top management, which fooled its employees,clients, government etc etc etc...It made me tainted (In the famous words of Infosys' Narayana Murthy). I started my career with Satyam and it has been good, if not great to me till the last month. Now i am torn between loyalty towards the institution that i belong to, and anger at those that brought it to shame. Just to clear the air, as of now my project is going on fine. Probably there were lots of good people in my team who have god's blessings. So i hope it continues till the company stabilises. Else I would be out of job and would need to take up Blogging FULL TIME. aha...now i think you will all have me in your prayers, to save yourself from my Blogs at least.
4. OBAMA - FROM NO ONE TO NO. 1 ---> I hated this guy for defeating Hillary Clinton. I had never heard him talk before that. But the first time I heard him deliver a speech, I just loved him. He is the best example of the power of speech. To work your way up is not something that happens by chance. You got to put together a great team,delive inspiring speeches and get the people to like you and believe that you are their hope. He has created a lot of expectations and I hope as the President of USA his pulls his country out of recession and which will also help the economics the world over.BTW did i mention, he has such an adorable family. I love Michelle Obama. I have joined the citizens of USA on their romance with the Obamas.
5. Im am an eggetarian...yaaayyy ---> Yes my dear friends, its about a month since i have started eating egg. I remember the last time i had egg was when i was in my 5 th standard. My mom had gone out of station and my dad made omelet for breakfast. I ate it reluctantly and puked in school and got my dad to come and pick me up from school. I bid a happy farewell to egg. Now its become part of my diet. Though it was the desire to have a healthy non-baked breakfast that lead me to egg. Now i enjoy the Sunny-side-up version of it also. I am looking forward to a healthier me.
